Global Shipments Decline
Stellantis reported a 9% decrease in global vehicle shipments for the first quarter of 2025, totaling 1.2 million units. This downturn reflects the challenges the automotive giant is currently facing.
Regional Impacts
In North America, shipments plummeted by 20%, losing approximately 82,000 units due to extended production shutdowns. Meanwhile, Europe experienced an 8% decline, attributed to delays in vehicle transitions and reduced demand for light commercial vehicles.
Signs of Recovery
Despite the overall decline, Stellantis witnessed a positive trend with the Jeep Compass, Grand Cherokee, and Ram trucks each achieving over a 10% increase in sales compared to the previous year.
