Porsche Faces 8% Sales Dip in Q1 2025, Yet Electrified Vehicles Shine Bright

Porsche's Q1 2025 Sales Overview

In the first quarter of 2025, Porsche AG reported a total of 71,470 vehicles delivered, marking an 8% decrease compared to the same period last year. The most significant declines were noted in China and Germany, with sales dropping by 42% and 34%, respectively. Conversely, North America saw a 37% increase in deliveries, reaching 20,698 units.

Electrified Vehicles Gain Momentum

The silver lining in this quarter's report was the notable growth in electrified vehicle sales, which accounted for 38% of total deliveries. This shift underscores Porsche's commitment to embracing sustainable mobility solutions.

Future-Proof Strategy

Matthias Becker, a member of Porsche's Executive Board for Sales and Marketing, emphasized the company's dedication to meeting diverse customer needs. "Our product strategy, encompassing all three drive variants for sports cars, sedans, and SUVs, is designed to thrive well into the 2030s," Becker stated.
