Porsche AG announced a significant 8% drop in its first-quarter deliveries for 2025, totaling 71,470 vehicles. This decline marks a challenging start to the year for the luxury car manufacturer.

Regional Sales Performance

The most notable decreases were observed in China, with a staggering 42% drop, and Germany, where sales fell by 34%. In contrast, North America saw a 37% increase in deliveries, reaching 20,698 units.

Electrified Vehicles Gain Momentum

Despite the overall sales downturn, electrified vehicles accounted for 38% of total deliveries, highlighting a growing consumer shift towards sustainable options.

Future Strategy

Matthias Becker, Porsche's Executive Board member for Sales and Marketing, emphasized the company's commitment to diversity in drive variants for sports cars, sedans, and SUVs into the 2030s.
