Global Sales Decline

Daimler Truck AG has announced an 8% decrease in global sales for the first quarter of 2025, with a total of 99,812 units sold, down from 109,911 in the same period last year. The company also highlighted a 7% year-over-year decline in battery-electric vehicle sales, totaling 759 units.

Regional Performance Variations

The Mercedes-Benz Trucks unit experienced a significant 18% drop in deliveries, selling 33,446 units, while Trucks North America saw a 16% decrease with 38,992 vehicles sold. In contrast, Trucks Asia reported a 16% increase in sales, delivering 24,772 units, and Daimler Buses enjoyed an 11% rise, with 6,206 vehicles sold.
