Daimler Truck AG has announced an 8% decrease in global sales for the first quarter of 2025, compared to the previous year. The company sold 99,812 units, down from 109,911 in the same period of 2024.

Electric Vehicle Sales Dip

Highlighting the challenges in the electric vehicle sector, Daimler reported a 7% year-over-year decline in battery-electric vehicle sales, totaling 759 units.

Regional Performance Varies

The Mercedes-Benz Trucks and Trucks North America units saw significant declines of 18% and 16%, respectively. Conversely, Trucks Asia and Daimler Buses experienced positive growth, with sales increases of 16% and 11%.
