Electric Vehicle Performance

The company also reported a 7% decline in battery-electric vehicle sales, totaling just 759 units. This highlights the growing pains in the transition to electric mobility within the commercial vehicle sector.

Regional Sales Breakdown

Mercedes-Benz Trucks and Trucks North America experienced sharp declines of 18% and 16%, respectively. In contrast, Trucks Asia and Daimler Buses saw positive growth, with sales increasing by 16% and 11%.

Following the announcement, Daimler Truck's stock price slightly decreased by 0.37%, settling at €32.73 per share.
