Air India Pioneers in Asia with Apple AirTag Integration for Hassle-Free Baggage Tracking

Innovative Baggage Tracking by Air India

Air India has taken a significant leap in customer service by integrating Apple AirTag with its baggage-tracking system. This groundbreaking move makes Air India the first airline in Asia to offer such an integrated tracking service, enhancing the travel experience for its guests.

Air India integrates Apple AirTag for baggage tracking

How It Works

In the event that a passenger's baggage does not arrive on schedule, they can report it at Air India’s Baggage Counter and file a Property Irregularity Report (PIR). Utilizing the 'Share Item Location' feature in the 'Find My' app on their Apple device, passengers can share the location link with Air India, facilitating a quicker reunion with their baggage.

Privacy and Security

Air India ensures that location sharing is secure and private, automatically ending once the baggage is reunited with the guest or after seven days. Guests also have the option to stop sharing their location at any time.
