Maruti Suzuki's Strategic Expansion
In a bold move to bolster its production capabilities, Maruti Suzuki has announced the approval of a third manufacturing plant in Kharkhoda, Haryana. This initiative is part of the company's ambitious plan to achieve an annual production target of 7.5 lakh vehicles by 2029.

Investment and Capacity: The project, requiring an investment of Rs 7,410 crore, will add 2.5 lakh vehicles annually to Maruti Suzuki's output. With the existing and under-construction plants, the total production capacity at Kharkhoda is set to reach the milestone figure.
Record-Breaking Production
2024 marked a historic year for Maruti Suzuki, as it became the first among Suzuki Motor Corporation’s global facilities to produce over 20 lakh vehicles in a single calendar year. The 20 millionth vehicle, an Ertiga, proudly rolled out from the Manesar facility.
Future Prospects
Looking ahead, Maruti Suzuki is not stopping here. The company is in the process of selecting a location for a new greenfield facility, aiming for an additional 10 lakh units annual production capacity. This strategic expansion underscores Maruti Suzuki's commitment to meeting the growing demand and strengthening its market leadership.
