Tesla Accelerates Towards Full Self-Driving Future in China Pending Regulatory Approval

Tesla's Full Self-Driving Feature Set to Revolutionize Chinese Roads

In a groundbreaking announcement, Tesla Inc.'s Chinese division has confirmed that the much-anticipated Full Self-Driving (FSD) technology is on its way to China, awaiting only the green light from regulatory bodies. This move marks a significant milestone in Tesla's global expansion of autonomous driving technologies.

"Dear owners," Tesla's message began, "Tesla's smart driving in China has gained attention. Thanks for your support." The company elaborated on its plans to upgrade FSD software for both Hardware 3 (HW3) and Hardware 4 (HW4) in compliance with new regulations, promising a nationwide rollout post-approval.

The announcement follows a brief one-month-free FSD trial offered to select Chinese users from March 17 to April 16, which was unexpectedly paused without explanation. This has only fueled anticipation for the official release of FSD in China.
