Moderation in FPIs' Selling Pressure Observed
The Indian equity market has seen a notable moderation in the selling pressure from Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs), with outflows narrowing to Rs 1,794 crore ($194 million) last week. This change comes amidst easing global concerns and a growing optimism around a potential de-escalation in the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Despite this, it marks the 15th consecutive week of outflows, following a $604 million outflow in the preceding week. Total FPI outflows for 2025 have now reached Rs 1.44 lakh crore, according to data from depositories.
