IHG Hotels & Resorts to Introduce New Brands in India

Global hospitality giant IHG Hotels & Resorts is set to enrich India's hospitality landscape by introducing new brands such as Regent, Garner, Vignette, and Kimpton. With six of its 20 brands already operational in the country, including Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza, and Six Senses, IHG is poised for significant growth. Sudeep Jain, MD of South West Asia at IHG Hotels & Resorts, expressed enthusiasm about bringing both high-end and low-end brands to India, aiming to launch two to three more brands in the next three to five years.

IHG Hotels & Resorts to launch new brands in India

Currently operating 47 hotels with 7,719 keys in India, IHG has an impressive pipeline of 60 predominantly managed properties. Jain highlighted the importance of the Indian market, ranking it as the company's third-largest after the US and China. He also noted that the majority of IHG's global portfolio consists of Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express, with InterContinental also making its presence felt in India.
