Group sales experienced an 11% decline to 124,386 units in the fourth trimester. However, there was a silver lining with incoming orders increasing by 15% annually to 124,046 units, indicating potential growth areas for the company.

2025 Guidance and Market Performance

Looking ahead to 2025, Daimler Truck anticipates an adjusted return on sales between 8% and 10%, contingent on macroeconomic and geopolitical developments. CEO Karin Radstrom highlighted the strong performance of Trucks North America and Daimler Buses, alongside the solid operating results of Trucks Asia despite market weaknesses. Mercedes-Benz Trucks showed resilience in Brazil but faced challenges in Europe due to weak demand.
