
Adidas Reports Significant Financial Growth
In an impressive financial turnaround, Adidas AG announced a 24% increase in net sales, totaling €5.96 billion for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2024. This marks a significant recovery from the previous year's losses.
Operational Success and Future Projections
The company's operating profit stood at €57 million, a stark contrast to the €377 million loss recorded in the same quarter the previous year. Adidas also reported a net loss attributable to shareholders of €39 million, a substantial improvement from the €379 million loss a year earlier. Looking ahead, Adidas projects an operating profit between €1.7 billion and €1.8 billion for the full year 2025.
Leadership's Perspective on Growth
"I am very pleased with the way the fourth quarter and the full year developed for us at Adidas," stated CEO Bjorn Gulden. He highlighted the company's double-digit growth in 2024 and a significant improvement in operating profit by over €1 billion to €1.337 billion, exceeding expectations.
