Hyderabad-Based Spacetech Startup Raises Significant Funding
TakeMe2Space, a pioneering spacetech startup from Hyderabad, has successfully raised Rs 5.5 crore in a pre-seed funding round. This significant financial boost was led by Seafund, with contributions from Blume Ventures, Artha Venture Fund, AC Ventures, and other prominent angel investors.

Revolutionizing Space with AI and Advanced Technologies
The funds are earmarked for the launch of MOI-1, India's first AI-laboratory in space. This initiative aims to provide a seamless experience for over 15 early customers by running their orbital applications efficiently. The startup is focused on overcoming data processing challenges directly in space, a mission that has already seen the successful completion of two space missions in collaboration with ISRO’s PSLV Orbital Experiment Platform (POEM).
Expanding Horizons and Democratizing Space Exploration
TakeMe2Space is on a mission to democratize space exploration by enhancing domestic capabilities in critical areas such as radiation shielding, propulsion systems, and inter-satellite communications. The startup plans to expand its operations, launch in new regions, broaden its product portfolio, strengthen R&D, and drive customer acquisition. With a team that has grown to over 17 members in the last year, TakeMe2Space has developed more than 15 satellite sensors and subsystems, signaling its rapid growth and innovation in the spacetech sector.
Looking Ahead: A Game-Changer in Space Technology
Ronak Kumar Samantray, founder & CEO of TakeMe2Space, emphasized the funding's role in accelerating the startup's growth and expanding its AI Lab to customers globally. Seafund's managing partner, Manoj Kumar Agarwal, highlighted the potential of emerging technologies like spacetech to unlock impactful solutions at scale, particularly with the upcoming MOI-1 launch, which is expected to be a game-changer in building data centers in space.
