In an ambitious move to lead the global robotics industry, the Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Bureau has announced a comprehensive three-year action plan. This initiative is set to propel the development of embodied intelligent robots, with a significant investment of $13.9 billion.

Strengthening Core Technologies and Building an Ecosystem

The plan focuses on advancing core AI robotics technologies, including AI chips, dexterous robotics, and multimodal perception technology. Shenzhen aims to foster a robust industry ecosystem that could potentially generate over ¥100 billion. The government's strategy includes supporting more than 10 companies to reach valuations above ¥10 billion and creating over 50 large-scale application scenarios to demonstrate the practical benefits of these technologies.
