France's Economic Performance in Q4 2024
In a recent report released by the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE), France's gross domestic product (GDP) experienced a slight decline of 0.1% in the fourth quarter of 2024, compared to the previous quarter. This marks a noticeable slowdown from the 0.4% growth observed in the third quarter.

Consumption and Trade Dynamics
During the same period, the consumption of services saw a decrease of 0.1%, while the consumption of goods increased by 0.2%. On the trade front, exports and imports both grew by 0.4%, resulting in a neutral contribution of foreign trade to the GDP growth for Q4 2024, as highlighted by INSEE.
