Nestle's Fiscal 2024 Performance Overview

Nestle S.A. has announced its financial results for the fiscal year 2024, revealing a sales figure of 91.35 billion Swiss francs. This represents a 1.8% decrease compared to the previous year. Despite this, the company managed to achieve a 2.2% organic growth over the twelve-month period.
Financial Highlights and Future Outlook
The net profit for Nestle saw a 2.9% decline year on year, amounting to 10.9 billion Swiss francs. Basic earnings per share (EPS) also experienced a slight decrease, falling by 1% to 4.19 Swiss francs, while the underlying EPS dropped by 0.8% to 4.77 Swiss francs. In response to these results, Nestle's board has proposed an increase in the dividend per share to 3.05 Swiss francs. The company has maintained its outlook for 2025, citing accelerated cost efficiencies as a counterbalance to recent increases in key commodity prices.
