Siemens Energy's Record-Breaking Quarter

In an impressive display of market demand, Siemens Energy has reported a staggering €131 billion order backlog for the first quarter of fiscal 2025. This figure not only sets a new record for the company but also represents an 11.2% increase from the €118 billion backlog reported in the same period of the previous year.

Profit Challenges Amidst Growth

Despite the significant increase in orders, Siemens Energy faced a dramatic decline in net profit, which plummeted to €252 million for the quarter. This marks an 84.1% decrease from the previous year's €1.6 billion. Similarly, earnings per share experienced a sharp decline, falling to €0.23, an 87.2% drop year-over-year.
