Record-Breaking Coffee Export Values

In an impressive start to the year, Vietnam's coffee exports soared to nearly $800 million in January alone. Green coffee exports, totaling 137,568 tons, contributed $694.9 million, despite a 38.2% drop in volume. This marks an 8.8% increase in value compared to the same period last year.

Processed Coffee and Foreign Investment

Historical Highs and Future Projections

2024 was a landmark year for Vietnam's coffee industry, with exports reaching 1.35 million tons and revenues hitting a record $5.62 billion. The average export price of coffee peaked at $4,178 per ton. Looking ahead, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has set an ambitious production target of 1.98 million tons for this year, with global consumption expected to rise by 5.1 million bags.
