Visa Inc. has announced a remarkable start to fiscal 2025, with a 10% increase in revenue, reaching $9.5 billion in the first quarter. This growth slightly surpassed expectations and reflects a 5% year-on-year improvement in GAAP net income, totaling $5.1 billion. The GAAP earnings per share also saw an 8% rise to $2.58, with adjusted net income climbing 11% to $5.5 billion, or $2.75 per share.

"Visa's strong first-quarter results reflected healthy spending during the holiday season and improving trends in payments volume, cross-border volume, and processed transactions growth," stated CEO Ryan McInerney.
