In an impressive showcase of leadership and innovation, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai have been named the most influential global Indians, each recognized by 56% of survey participants. This prestigious acknowledgment comes from the HSBC Hurun Global Indians List 2024, highlighting the significant impact these leaders have on the global stage.

Not far behind these tech giants are Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian, with 28% of the votes, YouTube CEO Neal Mohan at 27%, and Tesla’s chief financial officer Vaibhav Taneja, securing 22% of respondents’ votes. Their contributions continue to shape the future of technology and business worldwide.

Diverse Voices in Leadership

The survey, conducted based on Hurun’s internal dataset, includes insights from over 400 wealth-creators, featuring a diverse group of individuals from the Hurun Rich List, Hurun Future Unicorn Index, and Hurun India 500. Among them, 27-year-old Tanay Tandon, co-founder and CEO of Commure, stands as the youngest member, alongside Aravind Srinivas, the 30-year-old co-founder and CEO of Perplexity.

Empowering Women Leaders

Highlighting the importance of diversity, the list also celebrates women leaders such as Neha Narkhede (Confluent), Anjali Sud (Tubi), Yamini Rangan (HubSpot), Leena Nair (Chanel), and Revathi Advaithi (Flex). Together, they oversee companies with a cumulative value of $436 billion, surpassing the GDP of Malaysia. Their leadership is a testament to the growing influence of women in global business.
