HCLTech's New Global Delivery Center in Hyderabad

Tech giant HCLTech has announced the opening of a new global delivery center (GDC) in Hyderabad, significantly expanding its global delivery footprint. Located in the heart of Hyderabad's IT hub, Hitech City, the new facility spans over 3.2 lakh sq ft and is designed to accommodate around 5,000 employees. This development increases HCLTech's total capacity in Hyderabad to 8,500 seats across five development centers.

Advanced Solutions for Global Clients

The new center is set to offer cutting-edge cloud, AI, and digital transformation solutions to global clients across various industries, including hi-tech, life sciences, and financial services. "With its world-class infrastructure and high-quality talent pool, Hyderabad has been a key location on HCLTech’s global network. The new center will bring cutting edge capabilities to our global client base and contribute to the local technology ecosystem," said C Vijayakumar, CEO & managing director of HCLTech.

Strategic Growth and Partnerships

HCLTech has been present in Hyderabad since 2007 and continues to strengthen its position through strategic growth and partnerships. In June last year, the company entered into a strategic agreement with Japanese medtech player Olympus Corporation to set up the latter’s offshore R&D center, further highlighting its commitment to innovation and collaboration in the region.
