Brian Armstrong, the CEO of Coinbase Global Inc., has openly criticized the former United States President Joe Biden and his administration for fostering a "hostile environment" towards cryptocurrencies. Speaking at a World Economic Forum (WEF) crypto panel, Armstrong did not hold back his opinions on the matter.

Despite the current challenges, Armstrong expressed a sense of optimism regarding the future of cryptocurrency regulations under the new administration. He highlighted the significance of having a leader who openly supports the crypto industry, stating, "To have the leader of the largest country come out and say he wants to be the first crypto president … this is unprecedented. It’s hard to deny it has had an effect."
