A Legacy of Growth and Excellence

Neville Noronha has been a cornerstone of D-Mart's growth, leading the company from a modest 5 stores to a sprawling network of over 380 stores. His tenure has been marked by transformative growth, operational excellence, and the cultivation of a strong corporate culture. Asawa, an alumnus of IIT Roorkee and IIM Lucknow, brings to the table a wealth of experience from his 30-year career at Unilever, where he held various leadership roles across India, Asia, and Europe.

Ensuring a Smooth Transition

To ensure a seamless transition, Noronha will support Asawa as he integrates into his new role over the next year. Asawa is expected to officially take over as Managing Director and CEO on February 1, 2026. The Board of Directors has expressed their profound gratitude towards Noronha for his extraordinary contributions and is confident in Asawa's ability to lead D-Mart into its next chapter of growth.
