Gazprom Neft's Response to US Sanctions

Gazprom Neft has openly criticized the United States' decision to include the company in its sanctions list, labeling the move as both 'unjustified and illegitimate.' The company's representatives argued that this action goes against the principles of free competition.

In a statement to the press, Gazprom Neft revealed that it had anticipated such sanctions. 'Over the past two years, Gazprom Neft has been preparing for various negative sanctions scenarios. Since 2022, the company has already been under unilateral foreign sanctions, so many such restrictions have already been factored into our operational processes,' the firm stated.
