Practo's Remarkable Financial Year 2023-24
Health-tech platform Practo has announced a significant 22% increase in revenue, reaching Rs 240 crore for the financial year 2023-24. This growth is attributed to achieving a gross merchandise value (GMV) of Rs 3,500 crore, marking a pivotal moment in the company's journey towards financial sustainability and growth.
Shashank ND, cofounder and CEO of Practo, emphasized the company's commitment to improving healthcare outcomes while building a sustainable business model. The digital healthcare platform not only narrowed its losses to Rs 17 crore from Rs 99 crore in the previous financial year but also celebrated its first fully profitable quarter in the last quarter of 2023-24.
Strategic Expansion and Future Goals
Practo is intensifying its focus on the core India business, aiming to expand its presence in existing regions and venture into new domestic markets. The company's strategy revolves around enhancing profitability and revenue growth, both in India and internationally. With operations in 22 countries, Practo connects over 40 crore patients with more than 5 lakh doctors and healthcare providers, showcasing its vast network and commitment to making healthcare accessible.
