Delta Air Lines Inc. Reports Strong Q4 Growth

In an impressive financial update, Delta Air Lines Inc. revealed a 9% increase in its total operating revenue for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2024, reaching a staggering $15.6 billion. This growth highlights the airline's robust performance amidst challenging industry conditions.

The airline also saw a significant 30% rise in operating income, totaling $1.7 billion, compared to the same period in 2023. Despite these gains, Delta's net income experienced a 59% decrease, settling at $843 million, with diluted earnings per share (EPS) also falling by 59% to $1.29 per share.
