Mumbai Mourns the Loss of a Business Titan
In a shocking turn of events, Amit Banerji, the esteemed founder, chairman, and CEO of managed workspace provider Table Space, tragically passed away on Monday morning due to a cardiac arrest. At the young age of 45, Banerji's departure has left a void in the hearts of many.
"Amit's leadership built Table Space into what it is today. His impact on the company, its people, and the industry will be lasting and he will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, and partners," stated the Bengaluru-based startup in a heartfelt announcement.
From Accenture to Table Space: A Journey of Innovation
Banerji's journey to becoming a pioneer in the workspace sector began with a 13-year tenure at Accenture. There, he held various roles and eventually led the firm's corporate real estate segment, managing one of the largest office space portfolios in India until his departure in 2017.
His untimely demise follows closely on the heels of another tragic loss in the business community, Rohan Mirchandani, co-founder of Epigamia, who also succumbed to a sudden cardiac arrest at the age of 42.
