Expanding Manufacturing Footprint Across India

The Group is not just stopping at job creation. It is also expanding its manufacturing footprint with the construction of new plants across the country. These include India's first semiconductor fab in Dholera, Gujarat, a new semiconductor OSAT plant in Assam, an electronics assembly plant in Narasapura, Karnataka, and an automotive plant in Panapakkam, Tamil Nadu, among others.

Leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Global Supply Chain Shifts

Chandrasekaran also highlighted the Group's initiatives in the artificial intelligence sector and the strategic advantage India holds in the global supply chain. With the world's largest businesses seeking a new balance between resilience and efficiency, India's vast talent pool and growing manufacturing capacity are set to benefit significantly.

Creating Indirect Employment Opportunities

Beyond direct manufacturing jobs, the Tata Group's investments are expected to create numerous indirect employment opportunities in sectors such as semiconductor manufacturing. This move not only promises to boost the economy but also offers hope to the millions of young people entering the workforce each month.
