US Oil Rig Count Unchanged

In the week ending December 27, the United States oil rig count remained steady at 483, according to the latest Baker Hughes weekly rig count report. This figure mirrors the previous week's count but shows a decrease of 17 rigs compared to the same period last year.

Gas Rig and Total Rig Counts

The count for US gas rigs also stood unchanged at 102 for the same week, marking an 18 rig drop from the previous year. The total number of operational rigs across the country has been reported at 589, showing no change from the last week but a significant reduction of 33 rigs from the previous year.
