"Without his vision, risk-taking spirit, and deep love for India, our automobile industry wouldn’t be what it is today," Bhargava remarked, recalling their final meeting in July despite Suzuki's ill health.
Osamu Suzuki's Enduring Legacy
Born on January 30, 1930, in Gifu Prefecture, Japan, Osamu Suzuki joined the automotive company in 1958. His partnership with Maruti in 1982 marked a new era for the Indian automobile market. Suzuki's legacy, as stated by Maruti Suzuki, will continue to inspire the automotive community, celebrating his passion for bringing smiles through mobility. Suzuki passed away on December 25, succumbing to lymphoma.
