Ripple's XRP has surpassed Solana (SOL) in market capitalization, marking a significant milestone in the cryptocurrency market. As of Sunday, XRP's market cap surged past $117 billion, positioning it as the fourth-largest cryptocurrency, while Solana trails at $111 billion.

This impressive growth can be attributed to several factors, including significant whale activity, positive regulatory developments, and the upcoming launch of Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin on December 4. Additionally, XRP's trading volume reached $18 billion in the last 24 hours, indicating a surge in market interest.

As of 2:48 pm ET, XRP experienced an 8.85% increase, trading at $2.12. Meanwhile, Bitcoin saw a modest 0.59% gain, trading at $97,039, and Ethereum dipped slightly, down 0.16% to $3,700.49.
