XRP's Market Cap Surges Past Solana
Ripple's XRP has made significant strides in the cryptocurrency market, surpassing Solana's SOL in market capitalization. As of Sunday, XRP's market cap surged past the $117 billion mark, solidifying its position as the fourth-largest cryptocurrency, with Solana trailing at $111 billion.
This remarkable growth can be attributed to a combination of factors, including whale activity, optimistic regulatory developments, and the anticipation surrounding Ripple's upcoming RLUSD stablecoin launch, set for December 4.
Heightened Market Interest
The trading volume for XRP hit an impressive $18 billion in the last 24 hours, signaling a surge in market interest. As of 2:48 pm ET, XRP rose 8.85% to trade at $2.12. Meanwhile, Bitcoin saw a modest 0.59% gain, trading at $97,039, while Ethereum dipped slightly, down 0.16% to $3,700.49.
