China's Inflation Rate Shows a Slight Decline
The National Bureau of Statistics of China has reported a slight decrease in the annual inflation rate for November, dropping from 0.3% in October to 0.2%. This figure, while slightly lower than expected, continues to reflect the country's economic trends.
On a monthly basis, consumer prices experienced a 0.6% decline, a more significant drop compared to the 0.3% decrease observed in the previous month. This data provides insights into the current state of consumer spending and economic activity in China.
Producer Price Index (PPI) Also Sees a Decline
In addition to the consumer price index, the Producer Price Index (PPI) also showed a year-on-year decline of 2.5%. This figure is lower than the 2.9% drop recorded in the previous month and indicates a slowdown in industrial production and manufacturing activities.
