Luxury Penthouse Deal Falls Through
Hong Kong actress Dada Chan has reportedly lost over $205,000 in an abandoned deal for a luxury penthouse located in the prestigious Lion Rock development at Aquila Square Mile. The property, priced at HK$22.88 million, boasts a 697 square-foot living space and additional outdoor areas, including a 213-square-foot terrace and a 106-square-foot platform.
Initially drawn to the property’s panoramic views of Victoria Harbour, Chan ultimately withdrew from the purchase following a two-year commitment to the property deal. This decision has reportedly cost her a significant sum in lost deposits and legal fees.
A Rising Star in the Entertainment Industry
Chan, 35, began her career in the entertainment industry as a model in 2007 before transitioning to acting with her debut in 2008. She quickly rose to fame following her acclaimed performance in the 2012 film "Vulgaria," which won her the Best Supporting Actress at the Hong Kong Film Awards and a nomination at the Golden Horse Film Festival and Award.
