South Korean celebrity couple, Bi Rain and Kim Tae Hee, have seen the value of their Seoul property surge by an impressive $34 million over the past three years. The couple purchased the eight-floor building, complete with two basement levels, in Seoul's bustling Seocho-dong area back in 2021 for a staggering 94 billion won.

Bi Rain, a renowned singer and actor, contributed 60% of the original purchase price, while his wife, actress Kim Tae Hee, covered the remaining 40%. Real estate experts now estimate the current value of the property to be over 140 billion won. The property is fully leased to a mix of local and international brands, attracting a high volume of shoppers and diners, and reportedly generating hundreds of millions of won in monthly rental income for the couple.

According to News1, Bi Rain and Kim Tae Hee are among the wealthiest South Korean entertainers, largely due to their savvy real estate investments. In 2021 alone, Bi Rain and Kim earned 32.7 billion won and 7.1 billion won, respectively, from property sales. They also own real estate in the United States.

The couple, who had a private wedding in 2017, have since seen Kim reduce her career activities to focus on raising their two daughters, while Bi Rain continues to enjoy success in both music and television. Bi Rain's 24-year career has earned him recognition as both a singer and actor, while Kim Tae Hee is admired for her beauty and roles in popular dramas such as "Stairway to Heaven", "Love Story in Harvard", and "Iris".
