Coinbase Announces Apple Pay Integration

Coinbase Global has made a significant announcement today, revealing its integration with Apple Pay. This new feature allows users to conveniently purchase cryptocurrencies through Coinbase Onramp using Apple Pay as their payment method.

The largest US exchange expressed its excitement about the launch, stating, "We're thrilled to introduce Apple Pay for all fiat-to-crypto purchases via Coinbase Onramp. This tool simplifies the process of converting fiat to crypto with minimal KYC requirements for eligible purchases, free USDC on and offramping, and access to the most popular payment methods. With Apple Pay, initiating a transaction on the blockchain is now just a matter of seconds."

Following this announcement, Coinbase's stock experienced a 2.61% increase, reaching $303.93 at 1:10 pm ET. Meanwhile, Apple's stock also saw a rise, increasing by 0.85% to $239.35 within a minute.
