Cryptocurrencies Rebound as Ethereum Leads the Charge
On Wednesday, the world's leading cryptocurrencies experienced a significant upswing, with Ethereum leading the pack by rallying more than 5% after a previous day of decline. Bitcoin also saw a 2% increase after a mostly downward trading session.
This surge in digital assets comes amid growing optimism surrounding planned regulatory changes in the United States under President-elect Donald Trump, who has openly expressed support for digital currencies. Ethereum's weekly performance shows a 13% increase, and on a year-to-date basis, it has surged nearly 53%.
Market Update: As of 8:48 am ET, Bitcoin was trading at $93,923, up 2.19%, while Ethereum jumped 5.02% to $3,490.
