Stellantis Faces a 14% Revenue Drop in Q1 2025 Amid Tariff Uncertainties and Lower Shipments

Stellantis Reports Significant Revenue Decline

Stellantis announced on Wednesday that its first-quarter revenues for 2025 have decreased by 14% to €35.8 billion compared to the same period last year. The company pointed to reduced shipment volumes as the primary reason for this downturn.

Challenges and Adjustments

With consolidated shipments falling by 9% to 1.2 million units, Stellantis has decided to suspend its 2025 guidance. The decision comes in response to "tariff-related uncertainties." The automaker is actively engaging with governments to navigate these challenges and is adjusting its production plans accordingly.

Positive Signs Amidst the Decline

CFO Doug Ostermann highlighted some early signs of recovery, noting improvements in North America's retail order intake and a sequential increase in EU30 market share. He also mentioned the positive year-on-year growth in the company's 'Third Engine' regions, showcasing the benefits of Stellantis's diverse geographic footprint.
