Infosys Takes Strict Action Against Underperforming Trainees

In a bold move to maintain its high standards, Infosys has terminated 195 trainees at its Mysuru campus for failing to clear an internal assessment. The trainees were afforded three attempts to qualify, along with ample preparation time. This decision follows the recent dismissal of 240 other trainees, underscoring the company's commitment to excellence.

Compensation and Future Opportunities

Upon signing a separation and general release agreement, the affected individuals will receive one month's salary, a relieving letter, and access to a 12-week training programme aimed at preparing them for potential roles in the BPM sector. This initiative reflects Infosys's effort to support even those who do not meet its stringent performance criteria.
