Market Highlights Across the Region
While Japan's markets took a pause for a national holiday, the Australian S&P/ASX 200 saw a notable increase of 0.84%, alongside gains in Hong Kong's Hang Seng and South Korea's Kospi, which rose by 0.54% and 0.78% respectively. However, mainland China's Shanghai Composite experienced a slight dip of 0.12%, with the Shenzhen Composite remaining stable.
