This performance is attributed to higher income and consistent operational efficiency, marking the company's best-ever fourth-quarter profit.

The company's income for the quarter rose to Rs 9,314 crore from Rs 7,822 crore in the previous year. Arun Misra, CEO of HZL, highlighted the company's strategic focus and operational efficiency as key drivers behind this success. Sandeep Modi, CFO, expressed confidence in navigating global uncertainties, thanks to a strong balance sheet and a lean cost structure.

Global Leadership and Market Position

As the world's largest integrated zinc producer, HZL dominates 75% of India's primary zinc market and supplies to over 40 countries. It also ranks among the top five silver producers globally, reinforcing its position as a resilient and low-cost producer in the industry.
