Biofuel and Diesel Follow Suit
The Biofuel E5 RON92 wasn't left behind, with a 4% increase to VND19,230, while diesel prices climbed by 2.88% to VND17,520.
Factors Driving the Price Hike
Regulators point to several global factors influencing the oil market: an uptick in U.S. crude oil inventories, changes in U.S. trade policies under the Trump administration, and anticipated rises in OPEC+ oil production.
Notably, RON95 prices leaped by 5% to $77.3 per barrel, with diesel also rising by 3% to $80.90 per barrel.
