In a remarkable turnaround, the United Kingdom's retail sales volumes experienced a 2.6% increase in March 2025 compared to the same period last year, according to the latest report from the Office for National Statistics. Monthly and Quarterly Highlights
On a month-to-month basis, retail sales grew by 0.4%, with notable surges in textile clothing and footwear sales at 3.7%, and non-food stores at 2.4%. However, food store sales saw a decline of 1.3%.
