The Centre is rolling out a comprehensive package of incentives aimed at accelerating the adoption of electric trucks across India's busiest highways. This initiative includes lower interest rates, reduced registration fees, and toll waivers, targeting key routes like Delhi-Chandigarh and Mumbai-Pune to kickstart the transition.

With the power grid's upgrade on the agenda and industry giants like Tata Motors and Force Motors showing interest in manufacturing electric ambulances, the scheme is poised for significant impact.
