Axis Bank Reports Flat Profit Growth in Q4 FY25
MUMBAI: Axis Bank, India’s third-largest private lender, has reported a net profit of Rs 7,117 crore for the quarter ended March 2025, showing almost no change from the Rs 7,130 crore recorded in the same quarter the previous year.
Despite a modest 1.6% year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit for Q4 of fiscal 2025, landing at Rs 7,489.7 crore, the bank demonstrated resilience with higher interest income and loan growth. The previous year's consolidated net profit stood at Rs 7,613.6 crore.

The fiscal year 2025 concluded with Axis Bank showcasing modest growth, attributing its stability to a conducive operating environment and stringent expense management. The operating profit for the quarter ending March 31 saw a 2% increase year-on-year, reaching Rs 10,752 crore, while the core operating profit surged by 11%.
Net profit remained flat compared to the previous year but noted a 13% sequential rise, highlighting the bank's steady performance in a challenging economic landscape.
