CME Group Announces XRP Futures Launch

In a groundbreaking move, CME Group revealed its plans to introduce XRP futures on May 19, subject to regulatory approval. This initiative marks a significant step forward in the expansion of regulated crypto derivatives.

Contract Details and Market Impact

The futures contracts will be available in two sizes, 2,500 and 50,000 XRP, catering to a wide range of investors. These cash-settled contracts will be based on the CME CF XRP-Dollar Reference Rate, updated daily at 4:00 pm, London time.
