In a significant boost to renewable energy, Telangana has attracted investments worth Rs 29,000 crore from Ecoren Energy India Private Ltd and GPSR Arya Pvt Ltd under the innovative Telangana Clean and Green Energy Policy 2025.

Ecoren Energy's Contribution to Green Power

Ecoren Energy is set to develop wind and solar power projects worth Rs 27,000 crore across multiple locations in Telangana. These projects are expected to reduce carbon emissions by approximately 400 million tonnes over 25 years, create 16,200 local jobs, and generate Rs 1600 crore in SGST revenues.

GPSR Arya's Biogas Projects

GPSR Arya plans to establish 15 compressed biogas (CBG) projects with a total investment of Rs 2000 crore. These projects will utilize agro waste and napier grass, aiming to mitigate around 17.24 lakh MT of greenhouse gases annually and create 3000 direct jobs.

Strategic Partnerships and Future Prospects

The collaborations with oil marketing PSUs like Indian Oil Corporation and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd highlight the strategic approach towards achieving sustainable energy goals. The projects are poised to significantly contribute to the state's economy and environmental sustainability.
