Other Asian Markets

Contrasting the general trend, Australia's S&P/ASX 200 managed a 0.28% gain. However, South Korea's Kospi Composite wasn't as fortunate, declining by 0.65% by 4:59 am CET. The dollar also weakened against the yen, trading 0.39% lower at ¥142.6980. Japan's Nikkei 225 similarly faced a 0.73% decrease by 4:35 am CET.
