MUMBAI: A Titan of Industry Bids Farewell
Madhur Bajaj, a revered figure in the Indian industrial landscape and the former vice-chairman of Bajaj Auto, has passed away at the age of 73 after a brief illness. His demise marks the end of an era for the Bajaj Group and the Indian business community at large.

Admitted to Breach Candy Hospital, Bajaj's condition deteriorated following a stroke two days prior. Born on August 19, 1952, he was a third-generation scion of the Bajaj family, founded by Jamanlal Bajaj, and stepped down from his role at Bajaj Auto in January last year.
Legacy of Leadership and Vision
"Shri Madhur Bajaj ji will be remembered for his exemplary leadership, which not only propelled the Bajaj Group to greater heights but also contributed to the India story," remarked Minister Piyush Goyal in a heartfelt tribute on X. His legacy is survived by his wife and two daughters, leaving behind a monumental impact on India's industrial growth.
